I love Star Wars, but sci-fi isn't really their thing. I like to escape, but they like something more real. I think it was too involved and fantastical for them. Cursed Pirate Girl: The Collected Edition, Volume One Period Removed: September. The difference is that I loved Harry Potter, but neither of them cared much for it. Fly on the Wall: How One Girl Saw Everything by E. I have a hard time characterizing her likes. She likes fantasy like Terry Pratchett, and some others I haven't read like Anne McAffrey, and Melanie Rawn. My sister really liked the original Quantum Leap. Mostly she likes the characters and drama. My mom watched Game of Thrones and really liked Outlander, she even watched The Expanse, but I don't think she's into magic and monsters. They would absolutely like the Mouse Guard setting, but it's just so complicated. With the right game, they might have fun, but it can't be complicated. This may be more helpful: I want to involve my retired mother and middle-aged sister at Christmas. It has to LOOK appealing, easy, and uncomplicated. I wasn't looking for mice or animals per se, but something approachable.
